This file contains the complete version history for ProJPEG™, along with some notes on improvements that are already planned for the next update.
Next Update Notes:
Full Photoshop 4 - 5 Actions support are already in the works board for the next update of ProJPEG™. We regret not being able to work in Actions support for the initial 3.0 release, but since ProJPEG™ 3.0 is already such a substantial improvement it made little since delaying it until Actions support was complete. It will be added in the 3.1 update latter this summer.

Past Version History:
7/7/98 - 3.0.1 (Public release of version 3)
Fixed registration problem triggered most often by the presence of the PhotoTools package, but not caused directly by it. The problem could also be triggered by the presence of certain extensions.
Fixed bug saving last used settings. The last used presets special case functions properly in all cases now.
Fixed minor interface bug drawing the compression information string.
6/29/98 - 3.0
ProJPEG™ turns three with much applause. New features include improved compression, dual and much bigger previews, smoothing controls, and enhanced presets capabilities. Original 3 version released only to registered users at this time for upgrade madness.
5/27/98 - 2.1.2
Minor, minor change (of the format menu name) to avoid a potential problem with Photoshop 5.0
2/2/98 - 2.1.1
Updated information in accompanying materials.
8/15/96 - 2.1
Fixed memory leak that could cause instability problems under heavy usage, and scrolling bug where an overflow in values could cause a crash when scrolling the preview to the far right.
8/9/96 - 2.0
Initial 2.0 release. At the top of the new feature list, the worlds first interactive compression preview, file size estimation, Huffman code optimization, and presets ability.
12/10/95 - 1.0.1
Minor bug fix.
9/11/95 - 1.0
Initial release of ProJPEG™, the first Web-graphics JPEG tool for Photoshop featuring better compression control for smaller files, and support for progressive JPEG encoding.
